PMG Korea expands roster after signing Tiffany Young, Brody and Bang Yong-guk
Rapper Bryn has signed an exclusive contract with the Korean branch of Pacific Music Group (PMG), the company said Friday.
Bryn becomes the latest artist to join PMG Korea as the newly established label expands its roster in the country. The company previously signed Girls’ Generation member Tiffany Young and recently announced the additions of Brody and former B.A.P member Bang Yong-guk.
Bryn debuted in August 2018 with the digital single “Hazy City” and gained wider recognition after competing on Mnet’s hip-hop audition program “Show Me the Money 8” in 2019, where she received an all-pass from the judging panel.
She has since continued releasing music while branching out into television and digital content. She also appeared as a guest judge on Mnet’s “High School Rapper 4.”
“Bryn is an artist who has established a distinctive musical identity and expanded it into areas beyond music,” PMG Korea said in a press release. “We will support her in showcasing her individuality and capabilities through a wide range of activities.”
PMG is an entertainment company founded by partners including US R&B singer Ne-Yo, Indian singer Sonu Nigam and music executive Jonathan Serbin.
The company established its Korean branch earlier this year and appointed music industry executive Samuel Ku as CEO. PMG Korea said it plans to expand its artist management business in Korea while pursuing global collaborations.
