APR expands Medicube’s global footprint with pop-up tour

Korean beauty company APR will run a series of Medicube pop-up stores in the US and Europe to strengthen its presence overseas.

The first location will open in New York from Thursday to Saturday, followed by Los Angeles from Sept. 25-27, London from Oct. 9-11 and Paris from Oct. 23- 25.

The pop-ups come as Medicube continues to expand into overseas markets, giving local customers a chance to experience its products. APR posted 647.8 billion won ($470 million) in sales in North America and 228.9 billion won in Europe in the first half of this year, up 264 percent and 380 percent, respectively, from a year earlier.

The events will follow the medicube Wellness Club X2 concept. The spaces are designed around the company’s goal of making longevity more accessible, with its latest beauty device, Booster Pro X2.

Visitors can receive consultations based on their skin types and concerns and get recommendations for suitable device modes. They can then try the recommended modes with Medicube skincare products, followed by health drinks.

Customers who purchase the device will also receive gifts including water bottles, pouches and hairpins.

APR plans to promote Medicube’s beauty devices and self-care routines through the initiative while expanding its offline presence among global markets.

“It’s meaningful to showcase Medicube’s products directly to consumers in the US and Europe,” an APR official said. “We will continue to expand customer touchpoints so consumers around the world can experience everyday wellness with Medicube.”
