Toss Place to hire hundreds in first companywide recruitment

Toss Place, a subsidiary of Viva Republica that provides payment terminals and point-of-sale solutions, has launched its first recruitment drive across all job functions, with plans to hire hundreds of employees.

Applications are open through Oct. 31 for positions spanning business and sales, data, design, engineering, finance, marketing, human resources, product, security and strategy.

The recruitment is open to entry-level and experienced applicants. Toss Place has also removed its six-month waiting period for reapplicants and will allow candidates to apply simultaneously to other Toss affiliates.

The hiring process includes resume screening, job interviews, culture-fit interviews and reference checks. Some positions may also require portfolios, assignments or coding tests. Applications can be submitted through the Toss Place careers website.

The hiring push comes as Toss Place seeks to expand beyond payment terminals into broader services for offline merchants.

Alongside Toss Front, its payment terminal, the company is developing point-of-sale and customer management services. Toss Place sees its ability to develop hardware and integrate it with software and offline services as a key competitive advantage.

“Our goal is to move beyond the perception of being a payment terminal company and redesign every customer touchpoint in offline stores,” a Toss Place representative said. “We welcome applicants who enjoy trying new things, regardless of their job function or career stage.”
