Selected for Seoul’s ‘100 Beauty & Wellness’ list for second consecutive year
Lee Moonwon Korean Medicine Clinic, a Gangnam-based facility specializing in hair-loss treatment, is expanding Korean traditional medicine’s global footprint, building a global patient base through its whole-body approach to hair-loss care.
The clinic was recently selected for “100 Seoul Beauty & Wellness Spots” for the second consecutive year. The annual list features Seoul’s leading beauty and wellness destinations for international visitors.
“Treating hair loss is not just about regrowing hair. It’s about restoring the body’s overall internal balance,” said Dr. Lee Moon-won, founder and director of the clinic. “The clinic aims to leap forward to becoming a global wellness medical clinic that both local and international patients entrust, through our data-driven, root-cause treatments.”
The clinic provides care and treatment for hair loss through its Body Recording System, which views hair loss as a body imbalance rather than a scalp condition. It integrates traditional Korean medicine with topical formulas, specialized pharmacopuncture, scalp therapy and targeted home care into a single treatment.
The clinic holds 11 patents related to hair loss and scalp disorders, including an international application under the Patent Cooperation Treaty.
The clinic also offers overseas delivery of personalized care products via DHL to international patients in 103 countries.
The Lee Moonwon Korean Medicine Clinic was selected for the Korea Tourism Organization and Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism’s “Wellness Korea 88” program for six consecutive years, as well as the agency’s Top 20 Wellness Tourism Sites.
The clinic was recently selected to participate in TIPS, a government-backed start-up funding program administered by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups to expand its research and development.
