BMW Korea is expanding financing incentives, membership benefits and after-sales services to lower the cost of purchasing and owning its vehicles.
Customers purchasing a 7 Series through BMW Smart Lease can receive up to 1 million won ($723) a month for eight months, depending on the contract terms. Eligible corporate customers using an operating lease or rental program can receive an additional 2 million won.
For the 520i, Smart Lease customers can receive 500,000 won a month for 10 months. Eligible corporate buyers can receive up to 1.5 million won in additional support.
Customers buying a BMW in August can also receive up to 250,000 BMW Coins for use through the BMW Vantage lifestyle app.
Existing BMW owners purchasing another vehicle may receive benefits worth up to 1.5 percent of the new car’s price. The benefit can rise to 3 percent for customers who trade in their current BMW.
The company is also expanding benefits beyond the point of purchase. Its Excellence Club for buyers of luxury-class models, including the 7 Series, offers airport services, rental cars in Jeju and access to events such as the BMW Ladies Championship.
BMW Korea operates 82 service centers nationwide, the largest network among imported-car brands in the country. The network is supported by company-trained technicians and a large parts distribution center intended to shorten maintenance and repair times.
For electric vehicle owners, BMW has installed 3,155 chargers across Korea, including the country’s first publicly accessible 400-kilowatt ultrafast chargers. It plans to expand the network to 4,000 units by the end of the year.
The automaker sold 45,683 vehicles from January through July, including 16,018 units of the 5 Series and 6,565 vehicles in the large premium segment led by the 7 Series.
BMW Korea said it would continue expanding purchase incentives, ownership programs and service infrastructure to improve convenience throughout the vehicle ownership cycle.
